Why

“People don’t care about what you do or how you do it as much as they care about WHY you do it.” Simon Sinek

Here’s a cleaned-up version of your text:

I began compiling these writings because my wife urged me to. While I struggle to see my own abilities, she believes in me wholeheartedly. By writing and publishing this, I’m taking a leap of faith into something quite daunting—putting myself out there, open to laughter, mockery, or criticism. Yet, I’m embracing it because my wife, who knows and loves me deeply, encourages me to do so.

These writings aren’t meticulously edited or perfected. Over-editing would strip them of their essence and purpose. Too much tinkering can indeed hinder rather than enhance, as the saying goes. My hope is that you’ll see beyond the words and into my heart, despite the fear that entails.

I struggled to define a specific target audience or goal for these writings. However, it dawned on me that you, the reader, are the intended audience, and reaching your heart is the ultimate goal. You matter to me, and you matter to the Creator.

In conclusion, I believe there’s something daunting in your life that you’re meant to tackle. Perhaps you’ve been overthinking and over-fixing it until it feels unattainable. It’s time, dear reader, to hit play on your own scary endeavor. It’s time to launch, to act, to give it your all!

Know that I genuinely care about you.

Dave
